Institution Notes:

The University was founded in 1984 and is exclusively for women. Music programs are offered through constitutent and affiliated colleges:

• Sri Adi ChunjanagiriArts andScience College for women, at Cumbum.

• Arulmigu Palaniyandavar Arts College for women, in Palani.

• Nadar Saraswathi College of Arts and Science, in Theni.

• Jeyaraj Annapakiya College for Women, in Periyakulam.

Languages of instruction are Tamil and English. These music programs are also offered at the University’s centre in Madurai.
