Institution Notes:

A Roman Catholic Pontifical University, sometimes known as ‘The Catholic University of the Philippines’. Founded in 1611, it is the oldest existing university in Asia, and is the only music school in the Philippines with an all-student symphony orchestra and symphonic band. The Conservatory was established in 1945 and has the largest population of music students in the country, numbering around 600.

The University houses a collection of indigenous instruments. There is an attached secondary school. Language of instruction is English.
