Institution Notes:

The university was founded in 1927 as University College Hull and gained full university status in 1954. There are campuses in Hull and Scarborough. The Department of Music awards six music scholarships each year. Facilities include well-equipped recording studios and laboratories. Three new organs have recently been installed.
